I’m beyond excited to officially announce something I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid.

MEGAZOIC: THE MOVIE is now in production.

This has been a lifelong passion project; an epic dinosaur sci-fi adventure based on my Megazoic book series. For most of my life, making a movie like this was something I thought I’d never be able to do. But now, thanks to the powerful creative tools available today, that dream is no longer out of reach. What once felt impossible is now something I can truly bring to life.

This will be a fully animated feature, blending 2D character animation with dynamic CGI environments. Set in a prehistoric world filled with advanced technology, warring factions, and secrets lost to time, it’s a story I’ve poured years of love into, and I can’t wait to share it in cinematic form.

The journey ahead is long. Animated movies take time, especially on an indie scale. However, I finally feel confident enough in my workflow and progress to plant a flag:

MEGAZOIC: THE MOVIE is currently slated for release in 2029.

(This date is subject to change, of course, depending on how things unfold, but the project is very real, and the timeline is very doable.)

I’ve already made significant headway (concept art, early animations, scene planning) and the road ahead is clearer than it’s ever been. This isn’t just a hopeful announcement, it’s the first step toward making something incredible.
